Ensure your wedding at The Gardens at Bethlehem Farm is filled with special, unique, and thoughtful touches that will WOW your guests.
With careful attention to the details, you can create an event that will be remembered for years to come.

Whether your wedding is morning, afternoon, or evening, there are certain elements to include that will go a long way to increasing the comfort level for everyone. The key elements to consider are.

WEATHER AND TEMPERATURE. The Gardens at Bethlehem Farm’s barn offers grand sliding doors that provide a beautiful vista of lush green meadows, trees, and colorful gardens. Shuttered openings all along the walls truly bring the outdoors in. There is no need to incur the extra expense of tents with a barn wedding. Experience the feeling of being out in the country, while being protected from any unforeseen rain, (which is considered good luck on your wedding day). Your guests will feel more comfortable during your ceremony when they are protected from scorching, direct sunlight. Protecting every one of all ages, from rain, wind, cold, and heat shows you care. If Mother Nature is agreeable, then the option of blue skies or thousands of twinkles on a perfectly starlit night, are both available for your ceremony under an elegant gazebo surrounded by blooming flowers

OUTDOOR ITEMS THAT WILL KEEP YOUR GUESTS COMFORTABLE. Create a beautiful, decorated basket filled with small bottles of sunscreen, bug spray, and sunglasses for those guests who would like to walk outside around our gardens, or sit for a while by the fire pit. For cooler days in early spring, late fall, and evenings, have blankets or pashminas available.

PARKING AND TRANSPORTATION. The Gardens at Bethlehem Farm has great parking areas that work in all weather. There is designated Handicap parking. Signs/arrows will be set up on the day of your event directing your guests to the parking lot. There are spotlights that provide ambient lighting after dark. There is no need to park in a field and worry about mud during rainy times.

If you have blocked rooms at a nearby hotel for your guests, providing a shuttle service that offers a couple of different departure times for the wedding, and return service at the end of the wedding is a very thoughtful gesture. For people from out of town, who are not familiar with the area, and for those who tend to party hard, alleviating their stress and keeping them safe, will go a long way toward everyone’s comfort.

RESTROOM FACILITIES. There are entrance doors, outside on the upper level for 2 handicap-accessible, climate-controlled restrooms. Experience has shown us that immediately following the ceremony, during cocktail hour, speeches, and mealtime are when lines seem to form. If you are planning on more than 130 guests, it is highly recommended that you rent a luxury restroom trailer. **Note – there are two companies that we recommend on the vendor list on this site.

AMENITIES BASKETS IN THE RESTROOMS. Your family and friends during the several hours they are enjoying your wedding may find themselves in need of safety pins, bobby pins, hairspray, combs, dental floss, mouthwash, feminine hygiene products, tissues, saline eye drops, and other small things to help them with a quick fix. Put these items in a decorated basket or box and place them in both the men’s and women’s restrooms with a note that you hope these things will help with any small emergencies that may arise.

HOSPITALITY BAGS AS YOUR GUESTS LEAVE. Have a small bag strategically placed near the exit for each guest to pick up as they leave. The bags can include, snacks, fruit, mints, water, and hangover cures; small bottles of acetaminophen or ibuprofen.

Remember – every thoughtful detail counts. You should also let your own personal style shine through so that your wedding truly reflects who you are. When you focus on all aspects of your wedding, your guests will feel welcomed and accommodated, and it will ensure your wedding is successful.
